Benton Electric System is proud to announce that it has partnered with
the Tennessee Valley Authority to award $16,000 to West KY Allied Services, Inc. through
TVA’s Community Care Fund program to help the community during the ongoing COVID-19
crisis. “Benton Electric System realizes that many of our customers experienced financial
hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. By partnering with TVA on a second round of
the Community Care Fund, we hope to help some of those customers through public
assistance,” said, Leslie Taylor, Utility Accountant. “West KY Allied Services, Inc. will be using
the donation for their energy assistance program.”
